My little diddy of Leon meeting his first Garrador. Tell me how it is. Sorry for any small grammatical errors before hand, it's a rough copy.
Leon walked down the uneven steps, took a last glance at Ashley, and took out his Red9. He checked his stock and rested it on the crook of his arm. He got to the bottom of the stairs and pivoted, looking the whole room over. There a pillar in the middle and the room was more or less a rectangle. A few windows looked down from the next floor and wooden supports stretched over his head. There were also two brass bells, one on each side of the room. They seemed to glow in the light from the lantern on the floor above. Leon was puzzled at the bells, they seemed so out of place in the grungy room. He moved forward, staying close to the wall, and being careful to be quiet.. He got to the bell closer to him and took a closer look, it was mostly smooth except for the carved in inginia.
"Los Illuminados."
Just when he murmered he heard a soft scraping, not unlike a knife being sharpened. The room had been dead silent before. Leon took a step away from the bell and looked behind him. He had been focusing on the bell so much he hadn't noticed the cell that had been previously blocked by the pillar. He looked closer, trying to see through the darkness, void of the lanterns light. He could barely make out a switch looking contraption, and what looked like a chained man, presumably dead.
He tried to push the door of the outcropping open, but the rusted hinges broke and the metal door fell forward, hitting the ground with a loud crash. The figure inside the cell sprang to life and broke through it's chains, lunging out at Leon. Leon, jumped back, stumbling and hitting a support. The creature stood up fully. It was covered in chains and metal. It's face was hidden behind an iron cage, but Leon could make out two mangled eyes. It's hands were the most interesting though, they were covered in some kind of metal bracer and three long spike-like attachments came out of each. Leon stepped back and trained his Red9 on the fiend's face. He fired 3 rounds as it charged at him, Leon managed to stumble out of the way, but the thing managed to slice his lower leg. It bled freely, but was no mortal wound. Leon watched as the beast slammed it's right "claw" into the bell, which immediatly shattered. He watched as the clawed thing yanked back, trying to free it's weapon. Leon aimed at the middle of his back and fired three more rounds. He smiled as the prisoner yanked it's arm loose and writhed in pain. He had struck his target. It's back had a dark red bumped spot, much like the large animal the townsmen had unleashed on him. When injured the parasite inside flailed and it's whiplike appendages burst through the skin.
But the beast wasn't done. It righted itself for another charge, but Leon has ready. He fired his gun at the opposite bell. The animal, a few feet from mauling Leon, changed direction, striking the other bell. The heavy bell broke in a similar fashion to the first, a tribute to the beast's awesome power. Also, in a similar fashion though, the animal got stuck. Leon dropped his handgun with a clatter and pulled out his shotgun. He ran close to the clawed thing and pumped the shotgun, the shell loading in the barrel. He jammed the gun right into the stuck prisoner's back and fired. The thing's body stood rigid then it's free arm and legs spasmed, it's arm knocking Leon to the ground. Pus and blood poured from it's ripped back and it slumped aginst the wall.
